Hi there! Im Michael, the owner and lead stylist at Truth Salon.

For as long as I can remember, Ive been drawn to the artistry of hair. How the right color or cut can completely transform not just a look, but the way someone feels. That passion led me to Northern Virginia over a decade ago to train at Paul Mitchell, where I laid the foundation for my career. From there, I immersed myself in the world of color, spending two years apprenticing at PR@Partners, refining my skills and developing a sharp eye for technique and detail. But beyond the craft itself, I discovered a deep love for the strategic dance of business, the scientific intricacies of hair, the art of education, and the finesse of marketing.

Over the years, my passion has evolved into creating sun-kissed, dimensional hair color that enhances your natural beauty. I customize every shade to complement your skin tone, face shape, and personal style, ensuring a look that feels effortlessly you. In addition to color, I specialize in luxury extensions and smoothing treatments, offering solutions for added length, volume, and easy, low-maintenance styling.

But more than just the hair itself, the relationships I build and the trust I cultivate with my guests are at the heart of everything I do. That's what inspired me to create Truth Salon, a space where every client feels truly seen, heard, and cared for.

At Truth Salon, Ive designed a space that feels like a retreat— whether you want to chat, catch up on work in a private setting, or simply unwind. I offer a selection of snacks and drinks, including coffee, wine, Celsius, soda, and High Noons. If you’d rather relax, you can kick back and enjoy the quiet with a show or movie on TV.
