MEET THE ARTIST
Hi i’m Michael, i’m the studio owner/stylist at Truth Salon. My career as a hairstylist started 10 years ago after I moved to Northern Virginia to attend Paul Mitchell for cosmetology. Afterwards I was offered an incredible opportunity to join a two year apprenticeship program and work under some of the most talented hairstylists I’ve ever met. After my apprenticeship I worked at a salon in downtown Mclean for 5 years before stepping out on my own as a small business owner in Arlington.
I have always loved and felt drawn to the beauty industry. There is power in feeling beautiful and I love being able to provide that to women. I love learning new techniques and staying up to date on the latest trends whether its bright blonde, dimensional brunette, a short textured bob or waist length hair extensions.
